Very Nice!

I wish the motorcycle manufacturers would again, make more smaller singles available.

That little beastie is a twin, but your point is a great one... when you spun 'em up (redline is 11K or so...) they would flat-out scoot through 1/8 mi... I used to give the muscle car guys a good go for a few blocks...  ;D

Ride 'em reasonably, and they're great for clippin' around town... not much like 'em, anymore...

That's really cool. Many years ago I owned a 1973 CB175 in excellent condition. Like an idiot, I gave it away. I wish I still had it today. I don't have a picture of it, but I found one on the web that looks exactly like it...

I must retreat to my place of Zen and meditate on this.

That's cool! my first new bike was a '72 SL175, man did I ever thrash that bike, it was tough.
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

Looks like there's some folks that like old Hondas.

Here is a rare one that I have.  The engine and the rest of the parts are under the bench .  Before I got it the owner was thinking he would re-paint it and tore it apart.  No problem really.

In any case look at the first picture of the medallion on the tank.  It says Benly 125.  In the second pic you will notice the 'notch' tank, bum-stop seat, narrow bars, and really huge brakes.  All are factory stock.  It was a road racer that was intended for amatures to pit themselves against the pros.  Very low production.  It would blow the doors off any other 125 around.  The engine is very different than the other 125 twins that were being produced for Honda street bikes at the time.

Westie,

Yep, that will sho'nuff be a great running around town bike. In '76 I bought a '75 CB200 Almost identical to yours. (Honda bored and or stroked the bike to gain that extra 25cc's.) My 200 was a lively little dancer.  Great for the seven mile daily commute I had back then. I frequently rode it the 45 miles from my home to Eagleville, Tennessee where I was taking glider flying lessons on the weekends. The back road route speed limit was a comfy 45. and the 200 handled it with ease.
