It may have a short life because of 2x the spec'd voltage rating, or cause heat issues. Ideally, you'd get a proper 12-14V brighter LED bulb I suppose to be really sure (make sure the LED has a resistor/circuitry to maintain a proper draw or your turn signals wont work properly). I just tried this because I had a couple lying around and I wasn't too concerned because neither the neutral or turn signal bulbs are on for long periods of time on my bike.
