Has anyone else had this issue? I can have my dealer sort it out but if its an easy fix (connector?!) I'll do it. Mine has not worked since I picked it up, so I'm assuming its a connector not seated fully. My neutral light works only when it wants to!

To clarify, my turn signals DO work, just the dash indicator does not work.

I'm curious if anyone else experienced this and what they did to fix it. Hunting down electrical can be difficult.

I haven't sub, but I think a while back on the forum someone did have an issue with loose bulbs. Simple stuff first, Right? Check the bulb for seating and connections are good. Could save yourself some down time.

Certainly worth checking the bulbs - those instrument lights don't always seat too well. Also try a green LED in there - way more visible than the stock bulb, still bright in full sunlight

I had similar issue some time back.  These bulbs are not very long lasting.  I had replaced mine with a better quality one.  Most likely you need a new bulb.

Thanks for the picture in that link - thats super useful info! I have a replacement bulb  ,

I'll give it a try later, hopefully its just a bad bulb!

same problem here blown bulb at 500 miles.

Both of my sidecar bulbs blew within the first 10 minutes of operation.

One of the little bulbs over the headlight blew within the first 100 miles.

The low beam wire fell off of the back of the headlight in the first 100 miles, but to be honest I did pull the headlight bezel a week before so I could have loosened it.

Well, I found the culprit! I'd say its blown.

I realized I had a couple of the right sized bulbs lying around, albeit they were 7.5V bulbs. I decided to try them, worst that would happen is they'd pop.. To my surprise, they are very nice and bright! Here is the neutral light compared to the oem turn signal bulb.

So, I'm all set now, even better, now I can tell when my neutral light is lit in sunlight!

Its kind of funny how when something doesnt work, I assume its a QC issue like a unsnapped connector. If it were any other bike, I would have assumed the bulb first. Starting to really love this little bike!

I only have a few miles on these bulbs so far, so you may want to wait a bit before ordering; I'll be the guinea pig. It may have a short life because of 2x the spec'd voltage rating, or cause heat issues. Ideally, you'd get a proper 12-14V brighter LED bulb I suppose to be really sure (make sure the LED has a resistor/circuitry to maintain a proper draw or your turn signals wont work properly). I just tried this because I had a couple lying around and I wasn't too concerned because neither the neutral or turn signal bulbs are on for long periods of time on my bike.

Thx for the bulb number.  I am familiar with Allied Electronics, have done business with them in the past.

I would be concerned wit heat burning or distorting the green lens.   Is the lens plastic?  But I like the brightness without using an LED.  I like LED's, I used a bunch of them to create ground effects on my last Harley, but somehow they just seem right on this little retro....

Keep an eye on it and let us know how it works.

I'm not sure if the lens is plastic or glass, but likely the surround or area around the bulb would melt first. I held it in my hand while it was on, and it did get hot, but not scorching. I've ridden another 50 miles and its still working well.
