So where and when exactly is the breakfast meet up in Yelm?  I'm doing my level best to keep the bike running and not start any more 'projects' before the big ride up.

Scott

I ain't touching mine until either.

Thankfully, I have a new job. I really like it. The learning curve has been steep but I am picking it up well. L-o-n-g hours to begin with. This past week was only 42.5 hours. Prior three weeks were 53, 62, and 58 hours. Oh, and the commute is only 1-1/4 hours. I need sleep!

My lawn is so tall I thought I heard a lion when I first saw it in the morning light.

I have not had any time to work on Ennie since Jan/Feb and then I got this job in early April. It looks like my company van needs work on the weekend and I also am needed to paint the new ("local") office.

I am bummed at not being able to attend. But may try to anyway. I have to have some me time. Ay?

We are good people.

Being retired does have some benefits.  However, it presents some hard choices.  I'll be going to the Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiasts small bore ride in Longbranch with my CL125S.  I'd like to hear from anyone near Tenino who might be up for rides.  My cell is 360-878-1649

Uh-oh, looks like it may be a bit damp Saturday.  Let's hope the forecast gets a bit nicer as the week goes on.

Well it's only 30% right now, which usually means a few scattered showers through the day.  That's not enough to stop me.   So long as it's not a steady rain when I open the garage I'll head out.

Rain might stop me on my RE only because my front brake does this frightening grabbing and lurching thing when it gets wet. But...I figure if it's raining, I can still come on my Suzuki DR cuz it's ballisitc. I know...not exactly the proper bike to ride to an Enfield meet, but atleast I'd get to see you all without putting myself in serious danger.

No judgments for whatever anyone rides or drives there.  Just show up and that's good enough.

Hey guys,
Andrew here from Royal Enfield of Seattle. Thanks for the invite to the meet, Ice.
Unfortunately I won't be attending personally, but our owner, Susan, will be there. I also wanted to let everyone know that we've been an Enfield dealer for just 2 months now and our official launch party is on Sunday June 1st. We'll have snacks, giveaways, and special deals going on, as well as a ride that starts at Noon and goes about an hour and a half. I think Ice is being kind enough to lead that ride for at least a bit of it. Hope we'll see some of you there.

The doors open at 11:30 and it's usually in full swing by around 1:30 give or take.

Looks like the chance of rain has dropped from 30% to 20% in Portland, still 30% in Seattle.  Still, even 30% usually just means light showers here and there.

I just chatted with Ice while out on my lunch break.  Looking forward to tomorrow :)

Off the top of my head I can think of at least eight times that folks have ridden their other bike and at least as many times that folks have driven a car or truck.

Run ride drive walk crawl, who cares how a person gets there as long as they make it  ;)
