Anyone going to the International Motorcycle Show in Seattle the weekend of the 14th?  I'll probably be heading up Sunday with a friend.

Hi Scott, I will be there Saturday morning for sure. The VME will be back this year with a world class display of vintage motorcycles.

It's April!  Time to start planning the annual Seattle area meet-up?  I'm still bummed about missing it last year.

It is April!
I do really like the Nick but a part of me thinks we should do it somewhere a little farther south since so many come up from way south.
We were going to try and do something later last summer at SmartyPants in georgetown but that never materialized.

Well SmartyPants is only 10 minutes closer to me, but it would be a cool place to go.  Whatever, so long as it's not as wet as last time I hope to be there.

I had started on a makeover on Ennie in the late fall, when life, and a neighbor's request for a wood project, kinda forced my shop from "wrenching" to "sawdust" (as you may know, they don't mix well...or maybe, too well). My/our life would kinda make a good Country and Western song but I won't go there except to say health and jobless issues tripped us up. Job part may be on the mend and the wood project can get finished up soon (building a king size bed in a twin bed shop).

I rolled Ennie outside in December and she's hiding under a cover until I can get to the rewiring. I hope to have some form of her to ride to whatever venue is decided upon. Last time I looked she was rather "trim". I can't (yet) load a pic from this iPad (love this thing) as Photobucket app is still setting up.

I hope to be at whatever venue is decided. Conveyance yet to be determined.

Any venue is okay with me.  I just like to get a good ride in and see as many of your bikes as I can.  Yes, and it will also be okay to see all of you too, if I must.   ;D

Royal Enfield people are good people

Cheers,

I'm good with the Nick, best excuse to ride some distance and see some sights along the way too.

What do you guys think about posting fliers about the get together at places like RE dealerships ?
No matter where you go, there, you are.

Brother if you're gonna be there then neither hell nor high water will stop me from being there too.

I mean hey, flat tires and oil hemorrhages only slow us down right.

I like the Nick, it's good for me and Saturday May 17th is also good for me.  It's tradition and there is good parking and a nice terrace next to the parking.  How about it?  What do all of you Northwest Royal Enfield people out there think?

Here is the Nick's web site:  www.nickersonstreetsaloon.net

+1.  The Nick is nice.  They let us commandeer the parking lot and the patio.  Here's hoping the weather is better this year.
