Beers were among the concessions available last year.

As much as I love Colorado I wish I could make this show.  It sounds like a great time.  :)

Tempting...  Maybe next year, it's getting a little late to be planning a trip.  :)

I'm just learning to ride, hopin to find somebody who would be willing to trade a 82 honda cb650 for a oder RE, problem is, the Club I wanna join, requires a 550 or above, so unfortunately even if I can work such a trade....
does anybody know if it would be possible (ie SAFE) to put a 550 engine on the RE frame? I'm also interested if anyone in the Brememrton area could work with me as I learn--I can't  afford to keep takin the damn classes ONCE a month;)

It's been done with a Kawasaki 400 so I should think a 650 could be shoehorned in.  I was thinking of measuring a few myself.
Youtube search for "Royal enfield bullet with 400 kawasaki engine" videos 1 through 6.
Here's #5 with the engine running.

and #6 with it complete

Keep in mind, you may not want to put way more power into the RE frame.  It might not handle it.

Also, 535 is a common overbore size for the old 500 engines.  Kits are available.  They are also available for the new UCE engines but I don't know if anyone has done it successfully yet.

That is KS Gerry's Bullet. I turned him on to the XS 650 Craigslist add and he bought it and had a friend help him retrofit the Bullet to fit it. He later added a home built sidecar to the bike. He tried to sell it before he left to America Samoa on his trimaran. It is in storage somewhere. Maybe someday he will be back and sell it. Maybe not!

Grey Wolf,

Hitchcock in England has a 612cc Performance kit or you can make it a 570cc, for the Royal Enfield 500 Iron Barrel engine.
The stock frame will work just fine with this performance kit.
