Mmmmmmaaybe....maybe not.

We could always ask the crew at the Nick to reserve the parking for us .

Shocking abuse of authority!  Do it :)

Does the time table I laid out seem reasonable?

I have no suggestions for destination, just thinking about the scheduling.  I'd like to do a ride but I'd also like to start the meet up while there's still daylight for the gathering.

Say maybe rally somewhere at 10:30 for coffee, leave at 11:00 sharp for the ride, then meet up at 1:00pm for the gathering at the Nick?  Don't want to start the ride too early but also don't want to start the gathering too late.  There were a good few folks there last year without bikes or who came late.

Scott

Lets you and me back plan part of this.

O'bright thirty:
 Ducati Scotty departs home

Rain O'clock sharp:
You link up with Josh south of Olympia

45 minutes later:
you all link up with Bill and Dave and wake me up with a phone call wondering where the heck I am...

5 minutes later:
I arrive with mismatched socks and riding with the choke halfway on to help the bike warm up.

5 minutes later :
with coffee consumed we roll out  everyone snickers when my bike floods because the choke is still half on.

2 minutes later:
as I begin diagnosing electrical, you glibly point out the obvious (snickering turns to laughter )

30 minutes later:
 We link up with Ron

15 minutes later
 REst and RE fuel stop

20 minutes later we link up with Mitch

Undetermined time lapse: we hit the 10:30 coffee to link up.
No matter where you go, there, you are.

About the 10:30 coffee stop and rendezvous and group ride part.

Here's where someone(s) familiar with the lay of the land north of Tacoma is really needed especially for the route for the group ride part.

If we're doing a group ride I may head straight to that meet point rather than meeting up with folks along the way if that makes for a shorter ride up for me.  I appreciate winning the "Longest Ride In Award" last year but the WOT for an hour followed by the hypothermia was less than ideal.  Maybe a little more direct and leisurely route up this year.

I also live in Puyallup. I'm waiting on a new clutch from Vince now, also my shifter keeps falling off. Need to get that figured out  but should be up and ready soon. Keep us posted. I'm always willing to ride most days

Cool beans...we can give a shout when we get on Canyon Road and we can link up and ride the rest of the way to the Nick if you like.

I have the industrial size bottle of LocTite, give a shout if you want some.

Ducati Scotty leaves Portland for a coffee spot as yet to be determined in or around south Seattle.

Bill Harris , StealthBomber, Dave and me leave Roy for the Puyallup area to link up with Ron. Somewhere in or about the area we link up curtisbelford+1or2 and jbone3000.

The 7 8 or 9 of us roll on to link up with Mitch in the Kent area and then the 9 10 or 11 of us on to somewhere south of Seattle for coffee at a yet to be determined coffee spot to link up with Ducati Scotty and whoever else wants to go on group ride.

The 9 12+ of us roll out for the ride to get to the get together and link up with every one already there at around 1:00

Of course Bill will want to pre ride the route well in advance ;)

Anyone have any suggestions for a coffee spot and a nice ride or loop in around or near Seattle that takes more than one hour a maximum of two that can end at the get together ?

* Updated update*

What say we swing by the ferry dock in Seattle and link up with jest2dogs on the last leg in to the Nick ?

Stealthbomber, Bill, Dave and me are rolling out from roy, picking up Ron, Eddy and Steve in Spanaway,  Jbone3000 on the edge of Tacoma, Curtisbelford +1 in Puyallup, Mitch in kent, fvtenfanatic around 188th (where it just might be convenient to link up with Ducatti Scotty) and Jest2dogs at the Seattle ferry dock.

Anyone want to get to the Nick early and save us some parking spots ?

I have orange traffic cones and yellow construction tape to help reserve parking.
