I'm here at the show and I walked the floor twice.  I don't see any REs and I don't see the cafe racer :(

Just road back from the Seattle show today. As I had figured, no RE cafe. A word to the wise. Never take second hand info from a SoCal guy for a Seattle event. I did see plenty of nice rides though! I particularly liked the Triumph 2300 Touring and also a custom Triumph Stingray that was shown on the skybridge at the convention center. It seemed the show was a little smaller than last year which is a good indicator of the state of the economy. Still had fun checkin & touchin most everything including some hotties. Well not so much touchin! Do hope RE will roll into Seattle once the economy turns around.........in maybe, the next ten yrs or so. Maybe by that time they will have a twin to show.

Yah loved the new Morgan with the SS v-twin installed. The vendor mentioned the price starting around $42k.

Well I was not going to mention the price but now that..."The cat's out of the bag" Its not bad cosidering the Dealer in these Morgan used to make his own version under the ACE name... Morgan bought him out and now they produce it.  I talked with the Owner/Designer/Builder a few years ago and the price then was 45... So there a deal now for the new lower price!!! Still way cooler than the Can Am Thing.

So I walked out of the house the other day and the driveway was all black ice.  We've gotten to the cold and icy part of the winter here in Portland.  It's time for winter projects, one of which is an updated seat so I can make the long haul up to the annual gathering again next year a little more comfortably.  Maybe if I get the charging system sorted I can even get a heated vest running too so I don't have to sit shivering and drinking all of Vince's coffee for a half hour.

Looking forward to the better weather.  Hope the new year is treating you all well.

Scott

Still way cooler than the Can Am Thing.

I wouldn't even put those two vehicles in the same class and I'd take the Morgan any day over the Spyder.
