Hello Washington State Bullet owners; I'm new here and am looking to mine info on how to get in touch with like minded riders.  After a couple of years of searching I have found my next new love affair.  It's a 2008 Royal Enfield 500 Bullet, slightly modified :)with all the Ace and Hitchcocks goodies one could ask for.  It's in San Francisco now and I will be spending the next couple of weeks figuring out how to ship it up here.  I'm wondering if there is a web site where I can get hold of you all for rides and get togethers or if you just make your plans here in this forum.  I have been an RE fan since the 70's I guess when I rode my Norton down to Santa Cruiz to see my brother and found a 1955 350 Royal Enfield in a farmers field and decided to try and get it going, which I did and had a blast riding it around the area.  Then it was time to climb back on the Commando and head for home.  I've never gotten that thing out of my head.  And now that I'm in my doterage I figured it was time to indulge my self.  I'm still planning on track days this summer and I still love to twist the grip on my 750 but I want to do more putting in the legal relm.  I'd like to meetup with some Bullet riders up in the Bellingham area or where ever, am I in the right place to talk about this sort of thing?

There is at least a regular meetup in Seattle, in the late May timeframe.

Thanks for the info; wonder if there is any interest in starting a group on the "meet-up" forum...........

Hey Blackbeer,

As mentioned, we have an annual meet up in Seattle in the spring pretty much every year.  Watch this thread and you’ll see when it comes around.

This is a good place to post for things in the area, and people will mention moto happenings that they’re going to.

Royal Enfields are tough to forget once you ride one :)

Scott

Hi Scott; ok, that sounds good.  Yes they are hard to  get out of your system once you ride one.  I feel lucky to find the one I'm getting even though it's a thousand miles away right now.  It has all the work done to it that I would have done had it been stock.  Can't wait to get it up here.

Hello Washington and Northwest Bullet Owners!
I see that it is just over a month away from our annual Luncheon at the Nickerson St Saloon!
Looking at the Calendar, it will be on the 21st this year?
I was hoping to be able to have set up a function of some sort at my new house but it hasn't gotten to where I have a place yet for that, so I am really looking forward to the Nick and catching up with everyone!
I mostly wanted to get this thread back to the top so everyone would have time to make it!

Cheers!

Looks like Memorial day (Monday) is the 28th this year. That would make the Saturday before Memorial day weekend the 19th, as I'm seeing it.  ::)

Old Farmers Almanac forcast for May 19th - 23 is for sunny and warm!  8)
Could be a scorcher!  :o

Sweating beats rain any day!  Hope to see you all there :)

Does the local dealer have some of the newer models in stock?  I'd love to see them in the flesh.  No local dealer down here any more :(  I still haven't seen a Himalayan up close.

I haven't been to Seattle RE lately, I'll have to scout that out!  Meanwhile, you might check Paradise HD in Beaverton. They are now selling RE! There is a thread in the new Himalayan section.
