 The rainshine was....wetter than usual.

The consensus was June makes infinitely more sense for a get together for the obvious reasons.

We should try it again in June.

Yes!  Or fall.  Fall tends to be pretty darn nice in this part of the world.

I was a little dissappointed that I didn't get to ride to the Nick, but still had a great time as usual hanging out with good people!
 Can't wait until next time!

With the talk of moving the gathering date to June, what weekend do you suggest ?  :D

Later June would probably be better than early June.  Although, there have been years where I've seen scorching sunny weather in early june, then crappy weather all summer.  You just never know what you'll get around here.

If we're talking about this year, the third Saturday, the 18th would be good for me. Otherwise maybe the third or fourth Saturday of June for future years.

We could conclude our meet-up with a short ride to Royal Enfield Seattle.  It's just over the Freemont bridge, and around the zoo to the other side. Probably about a mile. Hwy 99 is right there, and I-5 is close too, for departures.

Another Idea is a group ride around Magnolia.  I was just told about it last Sunday.  Nice roads with minimal traffic, sweeping views from the bluff.  It's my next destination to explore.

Indeed.  It seems the weather is always fairly iffy until after July 4th.  The 18th is fine with me.  In general we could perhaps do the weekend in June before July 4th, that way we're a week ahead of a holiday again.

I wouldn't mind early fall either.  It seems that's the PNW's best steady weather and it stays light out so late you hardly know it's the evening.

I do like the idea of a short group ride on departure.  Everyone can go and nobody has to get up early to make it :)

Whatever, I'm just happy I get a second bite at the apple since I missed the first one this year.

So what's the consensus?  Are we on for June 18th at the Nick?

I'm good for June 18, but I really like the idea of a September meet.

The 18th works for me but my C5 engine is apart, may or may not be back together in time.  ??? If not, I'll be with Bonnie. :o

I like the September idea too.  As in both.

Doesn't the 18th conflict with the Lamay motorcycle week?

Yep, I will be riding my 350cc Bullet in the trial. Several VME members also. Fantastic venue with lots of other motorcycle stuff to see in the museum.

Sounds like the 18th is a bad day.  How about the week after, the 25th?

I can't do the 25th. July 2nd would be good for me, but it is the holiday weekend.  Maybe people would be out of town?

I think the only schedule conflict I could have in July is the 23rd.  I'll be taking my sidecar endorsement class!
