Scotty, nice to see that you made the long journey home in one piece. Thanks for your effort to make it to the meet the last couple years riding that long distance. That should inspire others to do the same. Maybe we should have a regional meet somewhere. That would be fun.

Nice to see everyone at the meet. We lucked out with just a few drops except for myself who took the puddle of water that formed atop the umbrella right on the head and lap. It was fun but we definitely need to get more participation from the other area RE riders and there friends. I know we can get a bigger turnout because we have in the past.

Look forward to some other meets this year.

I am sad I wasn't able to make it this year. Looks like you all had a good time and the weather ended up being as good, if not actually nicer then last year.
I had a couple of reasons for not being able to make it.
Number one, last December I got a lay off notice from my Engineering job (The Boeing Company) and and was able to move back into my old assembly line role but had to switch to 2nd shift. We get designated to work a lot of weekends building the 737, we are building at a rate of 42 a month, and this weekend happened to be one of them.
Also, Friday afternoon when I was getting ready to leave for work, the sprag finally decided to give out and just locked up the bike! YAY!!!!
I was able to rip it apart and remove it today so now I can ride again! It was so much fun!
Hopefully we can get together again this summer, maybe at the Lemay meet! I did the vintage ride last year and it was a lot of fun, I think it would be a great event for us to do this year as a group! Also the Isle of Vashon!

It was a great meet! Thank you everyone who came from far away. The time went by super fast with all the good coversation...and it always nice to have all our different Enfields together- what a striking image it makes. Thank you, Mike, for all your organizing and corraling of us! Thank you, Bill, for all the good tips on adjusting my valves and brakes etc! Thank you, Jesse, for the great pics (I didn't even see you snapping one of me and Bill...it's a good one!). Thank you, Barry, for that delicious gin and juice :)
Until next time! -Amanda

That would be the famed Harris Scrambler owned and piloted by none other then Bill "Hole Shot" Harris.

Also in the lineup towards the back and wearing the sunburst colors is a tasty original BMW R90S belonging to "Rocket" Ron.

The scoot about event was a bust...cancelled due to lack of interest.  No biggie, my wife and I got to do some downtown 2 up riding, which wasn't a problem on the c-5 military.

Last word we got on it was the date was not confirmed.

Bill Harris and me are always down for a ride and know some wicked cool places around the south to get good eats along the ways. If you are interested send a PM.
