Actually, it was yesterday, haven't been on the computer since I got home. Loaded up and hit the road down in Villavicencio, Meta at 6:00 a.m., rode through clouds and on wet roads but no rain 'til way down in the Magadalena valley. Had a record breaking (for yours truly) ride from the tunnel exit, across Bogotá, through Soacha to the toll gate, stopped to "drain my radiator" and then to buy gas (105 km per 4 litre gallon average consumption since the bike was new), continued on up the eastern side of the Central Range of the Andes and did La Linea pass to Calarcá in 30 minutes - sure helps to not have to fight semis on the road! (yesterday was a holiday and no rigs allowed after 11:00 a.m.) Made it home in just over 7 hours. Then parked the bike and got my gear off it. Now it needs a bath, although it's not near as bad as the last trip - when I rode through rain for several hours.
13,750 km on the clock since October 2015. Top speed on this run was 128 kph per Rever App on the phone. She's happier between 80-100, but has loosened up/worn in to the point where she's capable of higher speeds under the right conditions.
