Yep!  But instead of buying her boobs I get to buy cool shit like custom 1-off racing heads by Ace!

You're implying boobs aren't cool?  Hmmmmm....

My wife already has huge boobs, now I need heads that flow huge numbers.  ;D

Checked my plugs this morning and they didn't look as bad as I was expecting.  But I cleaned them none the less and dropped the 280 main jet to a 270.  Adjusted the clutch again, but still slips when it's cold but works fine when it's hot.  I guess I'll just have to get used to it.  Also adjusted the chain again as it was getting a little loose.  Bike is running great again after the rejet.  :)

Awesome bike. The Bullet 350 cast iron engine will always be my favourite, followed by the 500 of course. Enjoy.  8)

Thanks.

There is something special about the old CI. This week I had an opportunity to ride the GT535 and the Classic 500. Great bikes.

But yesterday when I took the CI350 for a leisurely ride, it spoke to me like nothing else. The engine has a life of its own.

No offence to the UCE bikes. I intend to own a UCE500 when I can afford one! It's a whole new experience.

Cheers.

Went for a 100 mile round trip, mainly 30 and 40mph roads, some 55 highways for a little. To have breakfest with some 59ner club members at a lovely cafe.
When I was 20 mins from getting there it pissed down, by the time I found a gas station to pull into and get my pullovers on I was soaked to my balls!
Dried off in time to go home but it was freezing!
Turns out I was the only one crazy enough to ride! :s

Well, I never got in a legitimate July 4th ride.  Friday it was almost 100*F so I decided not to go out until later in the evening and just rode around town.  Yesterday the wife and I hosted a party so I didn't have time to ride.  And today I was just lazy and when I finally felt like gearing up it was raining.   :D  But I've been looking on google maps today for some new dirt roads to ride on when I decided to look at a road I always pass on I-70 and keep saying to myself I'm going to explore it one day.  Turns out it winds up into the mountains and goes to this very remote place that has 6 different small lakes and reservoirs.  Best part is that the roads are rated for 4X4 use only......  Or one capable Enfield.  ;D  So I'm going to load up my fishing gear and head up there tomorrow morning for some much deserved relaxation and trout fishing.

This is my destination, Loch Lomond, CO.

Went for a little ride this morning.  Between the high temps over 105F and the crazy monsoon rains dumping a 1/10 of our annual rainfall in less than an hour each day, I haven't gotten much saddle time.

I went out for a ride before the heat and the storms got started today.  Rode into the sunrise until I got to the Tanque Verde area of Tucson.  Most of the roads had been under water the day before, yet surprisingly most of the debris and rocks had been scooped up already.

Saw plenty of wildlife, those tiny frogs that only come out when it rains were all over the road, and coyotes running across the road snapping them up as snacks.  Even saw a covey of quail and a flock of bicyclists.

I also attempted some new camera angles.  I tried strapping it to my leg but mostly caught a great view of my light switch.  I apparently am too tall because I had seen that method used before but it shot under the RE bars.  Also, I see people using their cams on their helmets, but when I do that there is no view of the bike at all and just appears like I'm flying five feet off the ground.  I'll keep trying.  I also did not use the HD mic this time either.

For the highlights:

Coyote at 2:46 and another at 3:45
Bicyclists coming down the mountain at 3:55
Switch to helmet cam at 3:10
Quail to the right at 4:51

I drove from washington to NYC.  I left the RE dealer in Silver Spring saturday at 530 and got to havre de grace at 730 (route 40), stayed over and watched fireworks. Left at 530 Sunday  & arrived GWB at noon with leisurely breakfast stop. Route 40 to Wilmington. NJT to 206/130/1/27/21/46. Prettiest part was route 130. Worst part was negotiating urban NJ on 27. Half the turns are missing route signs!  Bike was fine, of course.

Do you ever get to Grand Lake? It was one of my mom's & my favorite destinations in the '40s & '50s as I grew up & got through high school. We probably made the trip through Loveland & Estes Park & over Trail Ridge at least 20 times. I'll never forget the time she let me drive for the first time.

I took my 1st wife & my kids (son 1 & daughter 8 ) there in 1970; scared 'em to death. If we had stayed in the canyon the night of the day we drove down into Grand Lake we would have all been killed in the flash flood that wiped out the whole Big Thompson Canyon. Stuff (& bodies) was found weeks & months later in Nebraska.

I last drove it in '89 when my mom died & it scared the shit out of me. I guess death is closer now at 77.
