Nice RE helmet!  Did you buy it in the US or India?

How is your Corbin seat?  Ride height, comfort etc. compared to stock?  Thanks.

Bought the original helmet and RE jacket at their showroom in chennai. They have tons of accessories like t-shirts, pants, boots, goggles etc. Also test-rode the GT. It is a sweet ride.

The corbin seat is very nice. It is lower than the stock, and their memory foam conforms to your butt after 500 miles of riding. The passenger seat and backrest is especially plush and comforting. Since the height is at least 1.5 inches lower than stock and you sit a little further away from the tank, it needs some time to get used to it. Squeezing your thighs around the rubber pads is more difficult unless you sit close to the tank (at least for my height).

Replaced the stock battery with a MotoBatt MBTX14AU.  Then went for a nice ride!

Finished the rewire of the charging system.  Now I just need to make a new headstay to replace the cracked one and put it all back together.

Repaired and rerouted the wiring harness to the rear lights that the back tire chewed up, adjusted shocks to max preload, installed new license plate.

Ordered a National Cycle Deflector Dx, two head light visors (couldn't decide which I liked better) and a pair of rubber tank pads a local company is going to turn into hand deflectors for me. All but the windscreen is coming from India...lets see how long this ebay purchase takes.

It came with a generic 55W/60W bulb. The light spread on high beam is great, on low beam the light pattern is a bit patchy, but still better than the stock 5 3/4 unit.

Mattsz, I couldn't find deflectors I liked.  However based on the size of most commercially available ones and also based on what accessories were available we settled on the tank pads. They have the logo on them and follow the lines of the tank alread so all he has to work out are brackets. He is basing his design off the national cycle hand deflector brackets. With modifications, because it is impossible to leave well enough alone.
