Cold here today as are most east coast states. Only able to look fondly at my Enfield - Nothing need doing on it. So I put a fresher grounded power cord on a vintage pedestal grinder. Now it works without fear of shocks or shorts, has its own light, & has become a devoted metal polishing station. Even though cold in the workshop, I find that attention maintaining tools, to be an industrious, absorbing activity on bad days. Getting my hands dirty, & positive accomplishment always leaves me feeling very content, especially when things turn out well, & lead to even more future pleasant work.
