Rode my Boulevard to work yesterday and then on the way home it quit running due to what I think is a balky kickstand safety switch. So, today, I decide to ride the RE to work for a 1/2 shift. On the way home in the elevated HOV lane, it quits running. I coast and then with a one leg pushing technique I get to the down ramp for the Metro park and ride. Start checking it over. Got fuel. Realize the lights and signals are not working with the key on. Check the inline fuse from the battery. It's blown. No extras on board. Walk to a service station and buy two 20a fuses. Walk back and put one in. Turn key, it blows instantly. Move battery cables around and looks like nothing is in as bind. Put the last fuse in and turn the key and it blows instantly. Call the wife and she comes to get me. We go home, get the truck, trailer and carry it home. In the garage now, and I will begin to sort it out tomorrow.
