Just a side note, the mileage I got over the last 11,500 miles averaged 69.58 mpg.

Forgot to mention this, I just crossed 11,500 miles on the way to work.  It's like we're spirit brothers!

Put a CRG mirror on the left side of the bike

Which CRGs did you get and how do you like them? Visibility/vibes good?

Washed the Enfield today, the bike was filthy. Got it shinning like a new penny.

A heat-wave is passing through, temps up to 0C.

Fired up the shed heater, removed the Exide battery, test-fit the luggage rack - now I'm off to find some stainless hardware & India black paint.

It sounds like the early stages of 'cabin fever' setting in to me.

Actually moving some parts around?  What's next?
I almost want to say...."Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion of our story right after these words from Post.  The makers of Post Toasties...... :)

Feels more like:  "Will our hero's battery hold a charge?  Will his luggage rack ever install itself?  And will the safety-red milk crate stay securely bungee'd to it over those moonscape Minnesota trails?  Tune in next season for the conclusion to this exciting cliff-hanger..."

It's not cabin fever .....  I finally got a few quiet hours away from Work & Family responsibilities to play with my tools......   Most of my off-duty time has been consumed by my aging Dad.  We just finished getting him unpacked into his new "assisted living" apartment.  Now, we need to help him build trust with his new "assistants".  Alzheimer's patients aren't.
