Heheh, can find much of myself in that.
On its inaugural camping trip the RE got a rear flat. As the sun sank, while I was fiddling with tube and all, an elderly lady came up, fulminating, because I dared to work on the day the Lord rested and so should I! :D

The old blue is just brilliant, and totally of the period.

Seems to me you were resting, right there in the side of the road :)

I had the fortune of unwrapping an AGM battery & a new chain yesterday.

Placed both out on the workbench next to B5.  I'm waiting to see how long it takes before the new parts self-install.

Did you put the charger on the AGM while it's resting?

Nope.  I'll equalize & float it after it self-installs.

Went out to go on the Norton Club New year's Eve ride on this 35o morning after getting clad in three layers of clothing. I hit the starter button and the sprag still hasn't cured itself after sitting for three weeks. So I tried to kick start, but it was flooded by that time. Lots of kickin' and cussin' to no avail. I went out later and it still wouldn't go. I guess I missed the ride! Gotta wait until it warms up, I guess!
Happy New Year, Everybody!

Left it in the garage.  I was scheduled for a NYD ride with friends but I've been in bed for three days with the flu.  Pity, they weather was great today.

Had an 80 mile ride on my Woodsman EFI with 7 other members of the West Riding of Yorkshire Royal Enfield Owners Club. We visited several places of interest and tried some interesting roads. The temperature was just above freezing but we stayed mostly dry. Roll on warmer weather! :)

Hey JohnofDelph,  I recognize your avitar photo from fuelly.com.  You must have one of the first efi electras.  How many miles on it.  I love the woodsman setup.  Welcome to the forum!
