Rear went flat on a 65-70mph run. Yes, the heart wobbled.
Now removed, ready for new tube, didn't get on with rim protectors as well as I did with tubeless tyres on cast wheels though.
Going to wire brush inside of wheels and maybe spray with a zinc primer before new rim tape as well.
3.25 tube for a 3.50 tyre? hmm. Anyway, anyone have good tyre soap alternatives or should I just get some. Don't fancy soapy water with chance of rusting spokes from inside.
Scottie J, I had also adjusted the chain the day before, I think I had a hole in the tube though and not where I may have pinched the tube on removal, I had to rip the valve off the tube as the nut had rusted (and tight against rim) so didn't get chance to see the cause.
What with the speedo a couple of weeks ago, I'm not sure if the bike is testing my patience or just trying to bond with my toolkit!
Yes, garage is a mess (looks worse than it is) also quality Paint skills on the number plate lol
