I returned my Nfield Gear saddlebags. I did not like the way they mounted. Did not seem safe and secure to me. I also did not think their construction, fit, finish, an feel were commensurate with the price. I did not have the time to fabricate a mounting system.

put the nfield gear suction cup tank rack on my bike
It's a little disappointing  :-\
rack doesn't match the contour of the tank very well. Pushing down on the upper left corner makes the lower left corner pop off  >:(
Item is about $40 overpriced given the quality

Bummer it didn't work out, but I was considering picking one of those things up so I'm glad you posted your thoughts on it.

Bought an HD Sportster silencer, just waiting for shipping. Some new vibrations noticed especially at low rpm's. Going to check the head bolt tomorrow

Replaced speedo, and decided to take the headlight peak off. I haven't uploaded a pic yet and all that but I think it makes the bike look a lot more 'classic' and makes the front end look bigger.

*edit*
Forgot to add, a new speedo from Hitchcocks also included the bulbs and the small wiring harness.

:) Removed those funny rubber things from the fins. Changed the spark plug to an NGK. Inspected the head stay and tank bolts. :( didn't get to ride.

I guess I should take the Blackhawk to run some errands today.  I haven't ridden in 2 weeks, it has seriously rained every single night for 2 weeks straight.  Last night was the 1st time it didn't rain.  Hopefully she starts right up.

Bought a new C5 Military in Battle Green.  Trailered it to a parking lot to practice then rode it to a friend's house and stashed it in her garage next to a very nice looking Triumph.  An all British stable as it were.

Today, I adjusted the rear brake. She is now sitting at 1300 miles. about 1100 of that is from riding to and from work. Every day. Even in the rain. I love riding

Thanks for the welcome, guys.  My friend bought a 2012 Speedmaster a week or so ago, and that finally pushed me over the edge to getting a bike of my very own.  They are certainly cousins if not brothers!
