** Just updated. Looks like they have to replace the entire frame which, with any normal bike would be a write-off. But because parts for the Enfields are so cheap it'll likely be covered.

I'm glad that you managed to maintain the bike upright. Very lucky. Thank goodness. We always have to be very careful out there.
Also happy that the cost of the frame will be covered. Best of luck.

How long will you miss your bullet? How are your injuries?
Good luck on both.

Yesterday I bought a pair of 1157 red LED bulbs for my taillight.  I don't have time to replace the alternator right now so I figured I could get more ride time if I put a LED bulb in the taillight.  I had to switch to electrical to negative ground for the light to work, but thankfully the Thorspar ignition uses the same hookup with negative and positive ground wiring so all I had to do was reverse the wires on the battery for the lighting circuit.  With a fresh charge on the battery (surface charge removed) voltage with the standard bulb was 13.15 with lights off 12.8 with the taillight on and 12.2 with the brake light on.  With the LED bulb voltage dropped to 13.12 with the taillight on and 13.04 with the brake light on.  Went for about an hour ride and voltage was still at 12.91 when I got home.   :)

Had a little poo moment on my commute home from work, had it drop into 4th going 70kmph, no harm down but when your bike suddenly rears up and rockets off you do shit yourself.
I think she was abit sick of the slow traffic...

Well, the plan was to B5 based cafe racer. That project evolved into something else, and these are now occupying space in the closet.

Haha. We should do it again sometime. It's dialed in pretty good now.

I could actually use these on my Bonneville build.  I need an UCE tank for it so I can run a fuel pump to my custom EFI.
