Uh-oh, Philatawgrapher - you've gone over 300 miles!  ;D

Right?! I had it almost perfect! One turn was just a bit too wide . . . .

Fixed my tappet cover leak (I hope!)
Threw out the old gasket and made a med size paper gasket, a little wider than needed, screwed on, then cleaned the overhang and hopefully thats enough to stop those few leaks.

Nice sounds there mate!  I don't know why, but it still trips me out when I see people driving/riding on the left side of the road.  Maybe I'm just fascinated by anything that isn't American, but lets not get political this early in the morning.  :)

I took a few pics in the dark last night and then I was messing around with some different filters and came up with this.

Well, you'll have to come visit me here in Denver,  I don't feel like being detained in another state or country for an herb.  ;)

That's cool JVS, what filter did you use to revert it and make it look vintage?

In photoshop, I 'inverted' the image to remove the negative. Then I played around with the 'film grain' effect, and added the lens flare at the top right  :D

The proofs/pics were uploaded to the photographers website today!  Granted, these are just proofs, but I will be ordering the actual pics by the end of the week.

Here is the link to the website for more photos of me and the rest of the racers

I went out to the garage for a bit and came back inside to find these in my email already!

I've been wanting to race professionally my entire life.  I think I've finally found my calling riding on a genuine article of vintage racing history.  ;)  I had so much freaking fun!  And the fact that I took 2nd place my first time EVER racing on a track has got to say something.  I've been thinking the last couple of days and I think once I get a bit more practice in the Hooligans class, I might start racing in the Vintage Open class.  I'm pretty sure once I get the hang of sliding into the turns I'll be able to carry enough speed to exit the turns at the bottom of my torque curve peaking out at the entrance of the next turn.  I need to get back on the track and start practicing!  :D

OH!  And what did I do to my Enfield today?  I flogged it for 38 miles down the freeway at 80+mph trying to not be late for the condo showing!  Only to find out it was at 4:30 not 3:30.    :P  I spit quite a bit of oil out the breather (keep forgetting to order a duckbill   ::) ) but the Blackhawk didn't skip a beat!  In fact I discovered I'm pretty sluggish in 4th gear until I hit about 75mph and then she takes off like a bat out of hell.  I may or may not have Ton Up today, I have no clue as my speedo needle fell off the other day.  But I do know it was one hell of a ride!

I'm a little far away for a quick roadtrip to Denver haha!
Oh and also I made a 50 year old man giggle like a child when I pulled up next to his Audi A4, looked over, he smiled then went nuts with laughter when I revved it!
Lizzy makes a great sound and goes like a rocket, I need to post a video soon!
