Rode my bike 38 miles to the race track, raced the hell out of it and took 2nd Place in The Main Event, and then rode it back home with a storm on my tail.
You know, I have to say, with my new tune and gearing, it is
REALLY nice being able to maintain 75-80mph and actually be the one passing cars on a 75mph posted freeway.
It was also kind of funny pulling off of the track after the Main Event, I went to shift into 1st and my transmission was acting like crap and my clutch cable wasn't working. I started freaking out hing that I broke my bike racing it!
Nope, the clutch cable adjuster had just worked itself loose from the rough track and I actually only had about half a pull of cable. REadjusted it and all was well.
