I rode the crap out of it!
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

I rode mine also, though I am working on some mounts for some ammo cans.  In the near future I will have some removable awesome cans (on the bike).

I sat on the couch for a couple of hours, staring at a bare cylinder head from a Bullet, trying to figure out how to improve the valve rocker system.
It was 97 degrees here today, with about 99% humidity, and I guess the heat index was about 110.

Cleaned the points and checked the gap, checked the sparking plug, adjusted the idle mixture, re checked the sparking plug, adjusted the front brake cable and then cleaned the headlight connections.

You C5 and G5 guys might consider picking up an Iron Barrel like mine so you can have some maintenance fun too.

 Wished for a G5.

Ice  -  go to your nearest R.E. dealership. Pick the one you like. Give the man your credit card(s).   Ride away.....  Hang the consequences - the pleasure and delight will significantly outweigh the rest.

A question to the wise :

So the C5 and G5 have different sized wheels.

Other than the sligh lowered look in the case of C5, and probably slightly easier turning, is there any other difference ?

Took the loooooong way home from work, realized I left my house key at work, rode the quick way back to work and then took the looooong way home again!  I wasn't the least bit ticked I had to ride back and forth twice  ;D

The G5 has a 17T sprocket, and the C5 has an 18T sprocket, probably having to do also with the difference in wheel size.
The C5 has a more rounded engine case cover on the drive side, and has more rounded rocker covers.
Some bodywork differences, with the G5 being styled a little more like an Electra.
G5 has a dual-seat, and the C5 has a solo saddle.
G5 has a black painted frame, and the C5 has a frame painted to match the body.
I think the color selections are different.
Not sure if there are differences in the forks.

Thanks ACE. I should have been more clear. What I was trying to ask was the difference in drving related to the different tire size.
