Solo Seat Option

Has anyone tried using seat shocks instead of springs which are available from west-eagle seats?
Here's a pdf file of their catalog
http://www.west-eagle.com/info/catalog_info.htm
I'm thinking they would be more durable, less lateral movement and they come as a solo or dual option depending on weight and several length options.

The new spring on the C5's really don't have any side to side movement. They are a improvement over the old seat springs.
