An update: According to the new issue of
Classic Bike, all 11 Commandos were auctioned off, (no surprise), going for between 14,150 and 15,500 GBP or $21,225 to $23,250 at current exchange rates.
"After so long in storage, will need attention before they can be run. Tyres, batteries, oil seals and probably some internal parts will be useless" Be interesting to see if any actually come out of the crate. What's worht more? Still in the crate, or restored new?
One original space-frame
John Player Special 750 Team Formula original; went for 100,000 GBP or $150,000 - and it needs restoration.
