    Remember to work on your clutch engagement technique. At low RPM I often have to gently engage, disengage, and slip the clutch . You need to work throttle and clutch together.

Does anyone have or is it possible to get the software to hook up to the ECU?  I have some for my Ducati that cost $200 so I can tune it myself and set things like the TPS.  There are units available that piggyback the stock ECU and you can change the FI map.  Also, several people have started to hack the stock ECU and remap it as well as adjusting other settings.  Just curious if anyone has hacked the RE ECU yet and to what extent.

All that said, heed what others have said here.  Proper chain tension, lube the throttle cable, make sure it's not kinked and doesn't bind, set the throttle cable free play correctly, and you may find things are much better.
