Might be off line for a while a big cyclone is almost upon us, sorry hurricane you fellow colony dwellers, due in the  next 3 hours C5 locked away in secure storage.

Stay safe.  Don't forget to be really careful after the storm also, a lot of people tend to get hurt from downed cables and debris removal.

If it was not for the chance of massive destruction and people being left destitute Hurricanes would not be all that bad....

Many thanks for the kind thoughts, blow came at about 2.15am this morning. lots of noise and loss of power until about 10am this morning. The actual centre of the storm crossed the coast about 50 miles south of here at airlie beach/ whitsunday islands. Hamilton Island recorded 200 kmph winds (120mph) Locally here a lot of trees were uprooted but other than that we were very fortunate. A very large tree in front of the unit was uprooted but luckily fell away from the front of the unit, right across the road blocking the main road into town for a couple of hours.

Again we thank you one and all for your good wishes, it is indeed a pleasure to belong to such a tight knit group.
