Looking for a good 2004-2006 Sixty-5 for my son. He wants to start riding with his ol' man and really likes my bike. I figure if your 19 year old wants to do ANYTHING with you you better go for it; times-a-wasting, right? The bike doesn't have to be perfect, just sound. Thanks guys, Joe.

Thanks, G'bone (where'd you get that name anyway?). Was really looking for a Sixty-5 though. Followed up on one you had located in Va. Beach last month, drove up and checked it out. Just a couple of red flags popped up. So still looking..............Joe

Was wondering what the difference might be on a sixty-5 and a regular iron cyl. Bullet?

Sixty-5 is a slick marketing ploy to justify the cost of a 5spd over a 4spd..  Of course a year or 2 later all you could get was a 5 speed so the 65 went away..   I do think some sixty-5s came KS only,  not that sure though..

It also came a a much better set of rear shocks. I may purchase a pair to replace my Classic shocks.
Right now I'm in the " maintain " mode, that is "if its running good and safe ,don't mess with it."
