That time of the year again, our 2010 Royal Enfield Rally.
The rally is held somewhere different each year, last year it took me 3 weeks and 4000km to attend.
This year it was a 2.5 hour ride to the harbor just north of us. We had it at a nice campground  near the beach and very close to a pub and restaurant. Saturday was taken up with a club ride which took approx. 6 hours with breaks.
About 30 bikes made it.

I only get to see most of these folks once a year, there is a small group of about 6 of them which gets together more often. Usually these rides are quite long(days or weeks) and adventurous with highway, gravel, mountains etc involved. Basically pack your tent and tool kit and see where you end up.
No one treats their Enfields like pretty toys, they get and take a real thrashing on these rides.

Woodboats:

Your pictures are beautiful and NZ I heard is a beautiful country. Thanks for posting your Annual RE Rally report and photos.

How are the new bikes EFI, UCEs C5 and G5 (Is that what you call them ?) performing in NZ.  Any feedback from the owners of these new bikes ?

singhg5  - There was 2 C5'S at the rally. I think there are around 10 or so over here now.
All I can say is WOW!
I had a real good look at them and talked to the owners, they love them.
Good looking, great at higher speeds, very few bugs that needed working out.
On the group ride it was a treat to be passed by one, great sounding bike. Also, part of our ride was about 20 km of extremly twisty road, the C5's were just loving it, they seemed like good performers to me.
I know that other members are talking about getting one at some stage.
