After reading about some bikes with stripped out point plate fasteners I locktited 10-32 by .750 set screws in the threaded holes. Then drilled out the nut-spacers with a 21 drill. That gets rid of the bolt part, then send the 10-32 tap all the way through. easy enough and now you can adjust your timing till you drop, with no stripping.
