Try forward air. They have steel boxes made for shipping motorcycles.

HEY!  what happened to the rest of this thread ? there was more to it . and a friend just asked me  about shipping a bike . i said there were several companies listed   on  the RE form so i spent an hour looking and could only come up with this .

 I used JC Motors  recently, they charged me a higher price than they advertise on eBay's quote,no tracking or free cover anymore. A piano company  truck delivered it safely undamaged. Allied is suppose to be good.You're right, a good portion of this thread is missing,deleted?
