I think in an earlier post, it was said that he rode it in the rain.......
2005E Fixed and or Replaced: ignition, fenders,chainguard,wires,carb,headlight,seat,tailight,sprockets,chain,shock springs,fork springs, exhaust system, horn,shifter,clutch arm, trafficators,crankcase vent.

    I think it was the new Cycle World mag that has an articel about Billy Joel and his motorcycles.While I just briefly looked at it, I didn't see a photo of the Military, but there was a great looking cafe'  bike.
