my bullet is sitting, all covered up, not running. no worries! i've got 'er apart to build the bottom end with many mo' better parts. now, i just need some dough......... :(

I know the feeling,  my 07' is currently in pieces as I am working on reringing the piston..  With me its a time thing, before that it was a money thing,,  always something it seems...

Hey Garbone, just curious (and sorry to hijack the thread), are you re-ringing because of complications stemming from your headgasket replacement? Thinking of doing that myself next month when I put the bike back on the road.

Yup,  when I did my head gasket I figured I would check my engine case to see if I could do the retrofit to the old breather.. About 1/4" of one of the middle rings broke off when I pulled the barrel.. Now I am losing lots o oil out the breather..  Its all my fault, should have not pulled the barrel.


Back on subject....  I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today..
