took a quick trip to a few areas around New Mexico now that my bike is not catching on fire or puking anything up anymore.

of course.... there isn't a whole lot to look at out here.   :-X

Here is the majority of my view near Dripping Springs.  No complaining, a trip is a trip!

Instead of pulling my pony to Phoenix I decided I wanted to try out one of the new C5s.  My partner in crime rented a military G5.   We rode up to Barlett (sp?) lake near Scottsdale with them.  The C5 was a breeze to drive, and low enough for me to ride.  It was a blast!

Wait here is the best part.  My C5 had ELECTRICAL FAILURE.  What is it with me and breaking these bikes.  I keep mechanics fed.

does the picture look familiar?  I am recreating history here.  :D

Brings back great memories of time I spent in Yuma and 29 Palms in the MC. So you rented the C5 & G5? What happened after the C5 crapped out?

After the C5 crapped out on me the guy that rented them to us came to my rescue.  Only problem is the only bike my short butt can ride is the C5 and he only had the one.  So he pulled up and rolled a BMW crotch rocket out of his trailer.  ::)  Well there went my fun.  That thing made me nervous!  but it did have heating which was kind of nice  8)   The guy was very sorry about it though... gave me some free rental days for whenever I want to come play with the C5 again.

I don't even think I took a pic of that BMW... maybe I did... it's somewhere...

Yes it wasn't the original muffler, I thought it was a goldie but I wasn't sure.  Sure sounded like one.

It hit about 80 during the day but dropping down to the low 40's by night fall.  Typical silly desert weather.
