can you see the extra nut showing on the cover , the small domed allen screw is a blanking screw , where the neutral finder was , the bolt/nut slightly above "ties" the  outer casing to the inner result = no flex,   sorted

Thanks for the picture..

 I will have to take an gander at my NF to see if I can  get any more clearance from the case at the point of the bolt..  I guess you could use a carriage bolt and put the nut inside (with some good loctite) to allow for the NF to clear the fix..  I won't be starting this project for a month or so, have plenty of time to plan it out..

B_C..  nothing to be confused about.. Just another way to Frankenstein a system that already works fairly well for a ever so small gain in performance...
