Very good idea, the before and after! I got my bike just this October, and I will take a good before picture right away to keep it for the same purpose.
My thought is to only improve the breathing/exhaust, by improving the air filter, and the exhaust pipe flow, and that will then lead me to need to rejet the carb.
I hope to do just that and not much more, except to keep things in very good mechanical shape, and I am assuming that the bike has the internal strength today to cope with the additional throughput that the better breathing will bring about.
And this will also address the only superficial gripe I have with the bike - the look of the exhaust pipe, and the change in yours is exactly the change in the look I am seeking. And the improvement that in turn will bring to the sound.
And a final tweak I may do is to look for grippier aftermarket tyres - the stock ones are just about adequate, and I think I would like to be a little safer on my rides than what these currently do for me in that regard.
Has anyone found a way to put tubeless tyres on their bikes yet?
