.................. for their Royal Enfields as Christmas presents then?

Maybe I should rephrase that as to what are you hoping to get for your beloved R.E.?

Interesting question!  When the weather closes in and we can't ride them so often, our minds turn to another way of indulging our passion - spending money on them!

Me - I just need a new front tyre.

well. I already bought myself this and was blissfully blinded for a while and saw a bright dark spot everywhere I looked in the garage until it disappeared :P

First, I got to wait for money.. apparently that won't be January, next year, but the end of February - the account department changed it on me, so I got a long wait. Then, the headlamp shroud thing goes, get a new headlight, front and rear fenders, 21 inch front wheel, new exhaust, smaller front sprocket, solo seat, electronic ignition, braced handlebars, and maybe the trials gear ratios.. Pity I got to spend all winter waiting. I will be replacing all cables, most of the electrical system, light switch, key switch, indicators, and tail light. I should have it done for next season, and save me the bother of having to buy a Kawasaki KLR650.

Hmmmmmmmmm. I hopefully got CMW giftcards coming.

I got a slightly used old style muffler to replace mine, so I can lose the pulsed air garbage and the cat converter. I'll probably fiddle with the carb while I'm at it so the old girl can breather better. I got some slightly used samrat rocker arms to replace the stock ones, then I wanted to make the 7" headlight conversion, fix the cylinder head leak, get a pedestrian slicer, and maybe a nice solo seat. Nothing major, just make it run and look like it should.

Then it should be time to roll 'er out and enjoy the spring.....

I've got a vintage fishtail muffler to fit... but am thinking a no-tail model might look better.  Would like to go with rubber fork gaiters for my Classic... just like the way they look.

My Dingo is far more interested in eating the front wheel, than riding the bike - I can't even get her to stay still in the Ural sidecar. She is not a biker dog I think.

Momma told today she didn't know what to get me. I told her I wanted to get some items for the Classic. She just came down stairs and looked at my list  :o I told her she didn't put any limits during the conversation  ;)

I figured a new windscreen, leather bags, etc. She seemed to fix on the Loud Valves T-Shirt as a good choice.  ???  Go figure  :-\

That is what I will probably end up doing..  I read the catalogue, and see something else..  I should just sell the bike, and save a lot of money. :)
