I've noticed that everyone on the board is labeled "newbie" in the directory... While it's basically true since the forum just started, I haven't seen any indication of what will promote that status to something else, or that else that might be.

Just curious....

Matt,

:D Those are great rank names for this forum! Consider 'em adopted!

Bob,

To answer your question, the rank is based on posts. The thresholds (with Matt's rank names) are currently:

Neophyte (1 Star): 0 Posts
Scooter (2 Stars):  50 Posts
Bulleteer (3 Stars): 100 Posts
Grease Monkey (4 Stars): 250 Posts
Grand Gearhead (5 Stars): 500 Posts

Now all we have to do is find something to talk about.... No wait, we have something to talk about.  :D

ot: I just turned over 4000 km on my Ural. I got it in March, so both bikes are fairly new.

Scoots are cool, if I hadn't had my old vintage vespa to sell, I would have never bought the Enfield. ;D

It's better than still being at the back of the pack.  :o

I just don't have enough to say, I guess.

Doesn't seem fair, since I started this.... I think that the folks from Indiana are just too chatty.  :P

What can you expect from a state that tried to pass a law to make Pi equal to 3.

(Jus' skidding...)
