I reckon the house is doomed. They guy has shown he has some life in him. That  in itself is enough to invite a hostile response from the UK authorities these days.

I understand that the GB authorities have changed to a more oppressive regime in the last 20 years, taking more(taxes and laws) off the commen working folks .
That man(castle man) must be a threat to authority and thus must be made an example of.
We here in the States are in a Socialist struggle at the moment. Thats why we are interested in the"castle man"....watch and see.

Your opinion, of course.  Utter nonsense, in my opinion.   :)

Is "Socialist" a bad word? Or maybe its a PC incorrect word? Is the statement true? I didn't give any opinions on the matter, just a mere observation from my vantage point.
Maybe I should say the States are in a "Progressive" struggle at the moment.

"Political correctness" has nothing to do with it.  I said nonsense because I think your statement is simply not true.  As far as "socialist" being a bad word, I highly doubt you used the word to suggest anything other than a negative connotation in regards to the political climate here.  If I'm wrong, you have my apology.

Eamon, I respect your opinion and consider you a RE friend.
To me not much positive comes from socialism .

No worries.  My point was not in defense of socialism, but to disagree that we are "battling socialism" here.  Like you say, we can have differing opinions and still be RE pals.
