Hello everyone, I have bought a new C5 and done about 700kms, did my first service  at 500kms but since day one the bike used to sway a little at seeds of 35-40kmph, got my spokes adjusted tyre pressure checked but now sways between 40-50kmph, Any help anyone?

Same problem here.
Except in my case it happens after 100 Kmph.

I got the wheels trued checked the front fork bearings.
Still havent sorted it out.

This is what you should do

a. What is the run out on the rims front and back (Check with a dial gauge).
b. Put bike on main stand. get somebody to sit on the back seat. Then move the handle bar from left to right make sure its not hanging up anywhere. i.e. cables are not restricting movement.
c. Hold the fork tubes in your hand and try to move them back and forth they should not move if they do then tighten up the cone and ball set.
d. Check wheel bearings.
e. Check to make sure both shocks have the same amount of oil.
f. Check to see that your rear shocks are both on the same pre-load settings. Experiment with full stoft and full hard.
g. remove both rear shocks and check swing arm for play and smooth movement.
Updates from other posts.
h. Check Wheel Alignment. Rear and front.
i. Check run out on the Tyre.
(None of the above have helped me sort out the woble on my bike)

Another problem is in a corner the rear seems to want to step out. Esp if your two up.
None of the above have helped me

Don't discount a fault in the tyre even though it's almost new, has been known to happen.

Cheers

Those speeds usually mean the rear of the bike is the problem. With the bike on the center stand check for any side play in the swing arm or wheel.

I had a similar problem. My rear axle was not adjusted straight from the factory.

I used a string to do an alignment .

I think Ive found the problem.
Looks like its the swing arm.
If I hold it and try to force it side to side there is movement.

Plan is to strip it and inspect the bushes.
If I find any plastic Bushes in there they will get replaced with some Bronze bushes.
Just like we do on the RDs.

There was a topic on this before, his finding was rear fender. Got the bush tighten up and all done.

The ball race cup is in the steering head or neck if you like. It is where the ball bearings ride as you turn the front end left and right. It sounds like his cup may not have been seated all the way, causing the front end to have too much play. The triple trees were probably not seated. I other words, the front end was probably loose at the neck.
