I've had one for a few years.  Bought it for the In-Home daycare my wife ran.  Last child picked up.  Hit the Start button and leave the room.  Return in about an hour and empty the bin and clean the filter.

I've want to get one of those newer ones that are designed for the multi-room clean up.

Uh... What's a roomba?  ???
I must retreat to my place of Zen and meditate on this.

A robot vacumm cleaner...

I gotta go get the batteries for my lighthouse, as it is now the thing roams the house at random..  I read that the lighthouse makes it work in an almost logical manner between rooms.

Pry to GOD, your dog or cat never shits or pukes and this thing tries to clean it up.... I have seen things that were not meant to be seen... Like a fucking Jackson Pollack, in shit, on my friends carpet...
"Counted his friends in burned-out spark plugs
and prays that he always will.

But he's the last of the blue blood greaser boys all of his mates are doing time:

Married with three kids up by the ring road
sold their souls straight down the line.

I got a roomba 560 2 years ago.  Keep an eye on the single middle roller (the one that moves for steering), it clips out easily.  Watch out for oose getting trapped in there and stopping it turning.  When that happens the roomba still works perfectly but puts fine scratches all over the floor...  I learned by experience.

Also keep using it.  I stopped for around 6 months and the battery never charged again.

Can't see getting one of those..my Staffordshire Bull Terrier would destroy it.  Would just think it's another play toy for his amusement.  Will.

Gee - I WAS thinking about getting one of these cool contraptions ..... I did NOT think about what it would do to a food tube left by the cat ..... YIKES!! I think I'll stick to the Old Ironsides Kirby for a while .....
Spare the pig iron - spoil the part!

Yup,  I was thinking of getting the control center so I could schedule cleanings,  but after that good advice I will just hit the button manually after doing a FOD (ie animal leavings) walk down... Just saved myself $60, look at that..
