The noises are spooky. It sounds like a can of loose nuts and bolts.
People used to say things like that about the old iron motors.
In time you don't even hear things anymore unless it changes.
The majority of the UCE's that I have seen had the "UCE Tick" of the decompressor when you first start it up.
OTOH mine never did it, soooooooooo...........Is mine the bad one and all the rest OK?
Not gonna loose any sleep over it.
Once you tear into a UCE motor you'll gain a lot of confidence in it. Well built, butt simple, and I hate to say it but much better than it's parents.
I'm just going to ride the hell out of mine and take advantage of the 2yr warranty if anything happens.
I take it your not in the US by your comments on the warranty? We here in the US have been blessed by the fact we have an Importer/Distributor that takes the bull by the horns and one way or the other the customer almost always ends up happy. I say almost because some folks will never be happy with anything no matter what you do.
Anyway, ride your bike and enjoy it for what it is.
