Our closestt hospital is in a town over a hour away and I had heard their local bike club was having a Toy Run yesterday.
What I didn't realize was the bikes were also part of the Santa Parade, before heading to the hospital.
Out of approx 250 bikes mine was the only Enfield!
Lots of fun with kids waving out at the parade and more kids in their beds lined up outside the hospital. Oh, and the police had all the stop lights blocked so it was a straight run in.

That sounds like a nice happening for you Woodboats. So is this part of kicking off your summer? I usually like the winter better in the Southern US, Texas to be exact, but this year it's damp and with the cooler temps it cuts to the bone.
I hope your summer is pleasant.

Thanks Phil
Schools have just closed till Feb now for the summer.
I have caught up getting other peoples boats ready and am now taking these last few weeks finishing my own boat. I pulled it out about 4 months ago for a total refit and am determined to have it back in for Xmas.

Sounds like a great ride.
The kids got a real treat, seeing that many bikes roll through.

This just makes me smile Woodboats, talking of the SSS, Summer-Swimming-Sailing, at Xmas time. You just have to be from another hemisphere.  8)

Thumbs up Woodboats. I think I  was the only Enfield in a similar parade of nearly 7000 bikes in my home state of South Carolina recently. Toys for Tots. Felt really good to be doing something positive for the kids AND logging a few miles on my Bullet. Hope you had the same experience.
