I live in south Jersey, just outside Philadelphia. Do you think I would be able to find jets to fit the Mikcarb 28 in any of the local parts stores like Pep Boys, or is that something I'd have to order. I hate ordering online I always seem to have a problem.

If you are going to do that, take the Mikarb jets with you, so that they can match up the new ones of the same type.
There are a variety of Mikuni jet types, and you need to get the right ones.
If you have to get a needle jet, that is not a Mikuni part, and you'll need to order that one.
Hopefully, you won't need one of those, but we can't tell until you do further testing of the jetting and screw settings..

I found jet sets for my Mikarb and PWK at both the local Jap bike shops. I wouldn't think you would have much luck at an auto parts store.

Yes, of course Blltrdr is correct.
You have to go to a motorcycle shop to get them.
They won't be at an auto parts store.

Yeah, that makes sense, do you happen to know what the model number of the Mikuni carb is, that shares the same jets with the Mikcarb 28 carb? That might make looking them up (the jets) easier.
Thanks

It's a VM28 copy. Just bring your jets to the dealer and he should have a complete Mikuni jet assortment box for most carbs.

Great, thanks, I just came from an auto parts store where I ordered a K&N to mod into the stock airbox. Came to 36 bucks and change, they said I should have it in a couple of days.
