It doesn't say anything about a new military model, and that isn't one. It's just a Harley Cross Bones with green paint for their advertising campaign. I guess you could say something similar about the RE Military, a street bike painted green; but RE actually makes a dedicated Military model, not just something they painted green for posters in an advertising campaign. Here's the regular Cross Bones, just slap some green paint on it and you've got a "we're saluting the military" poster-bike...

Here's the campaign page...

http://freecountry.harley-davidson.com/thankyou/landing.php?&camp_id=16&source_cd=SEM_Military&_cr=ppc|google|military|harley%20military

I guess it's a cool thing to 'salute' the military, but that's all it is: posting a message to say thanks on Harley's website. The downloads of the pretty girl show her posing not on a military bike, but on various models that are every color but green. No military bike at all. And it appears that the bike you can enter to win isn't even that green one, but a different model in black (if the picture shown on the entry form is the bike they're giving away; it doesn't mention it otherwise).

I searched and couldn't find any info about Harley making a new 'military' model. A check of Harley's website shows that the Cross Bones isn't even available in green as an option. Looks like that picture you posted is the only one resembling a military model, and it's just a Cross Bones painted green to advertise their latest PR campaign.

Although I think if Harley did make a dedicated military model, it would probably be a big seller.

I must retreat to my place of Zen and meditate on this.

All H-D would have to do is modify a police cruiser with some OD green and they may even sell a few to Government contracts.

I caught a headline in a trade magazine that led me to believe that Harley was going to make a special military model, but when I got into the article they were saying that Harley is putting on some sort of special promotion for the Military.

Yes , good marketing. They seem to be the only ones left in America with a  paying job.
