I thought that the balloon was cool. If they had pumped it up a bit more, it would really have looked like a UFO - and we could have debated the conspiracy theory implications.

Geez! Why didn't they get the kid off screen or stop taping when he began feeling sick? I understand they want to explain what happened, but it's cruel to keep the kids in front of the cameras like that. The father didn't even notice his kid was becoming ill.

I'm not totally convinced it was a hoax, but behavior like that doesn't help their case any.

If the authorities prove that Dad & Mom cooked up the whole thing, I hope they (Dad & Mom) get billed for every single penny spent by each of the groups that were officially involved with the event and, if applicable, I also hope they (Dad & Mom) are brought up on charges!
Long live the Bullets and those who ride them!

Keep the shiny side up, the boots on the pegs and best REgards,

Cost estimates this AM were nearing $2 mil  :o

It's pricey to launch Blackhawk helo's & other aircraft, plus running all the other frills that go with a rescue attempt.

A hoax, well I don't know, but I doubt it was an accident  ::)

Not only pricey, the rescue folks can only be in one place at a time, if anther call came they would be delayed, not to mention the  responders risking their lives over a hoax.

If you've heard the 911 call you'd definitely think something is a bit fishy.  Terrible to use your own kid for a media stunt.  Guess the cops are now trying to ptu the kids in protective care until this is ll sorted out.

I was also hoping this was all a bad incident but am really beginning to wonder.  Will.
