Newbie with C5 luggage problem

I'm brand new to RE and I should be picking up a new C5 next week. I've searched the online store and even called them. I need saddlebags to carry my "stuff". I'm going to be traveling quite a bit and I need a little storage. Nothing is made for the C5!!!!! Can somebody please HELP. Thanks.

I guess it depends on the nature of the "stuff" you need to haul.. Get a Aerostich / RiderWearHouse catalog and take a peak. They tend to be exspensive but have a wide selection of generic bags. For a long trip dry bags are the rage...
I had a set of cheap saddlebags on my bike purchased on ebay, attached them to my rear fender carriers with rubberized clamps. Worked well but hated the look and I tended to load em with useless junk so I took em off. You could probably get away with some nice RE leather bags from CMW with a little creative attachment work.

I'm sure some luggage will become available, but since it's a new model, accessories lag behind a bit in hitting the market.
In the meantime, a good backpack and a tank bag should get you by.

Or skip the problem and buy a trailer. Will.

No takers for this yet but has nice luggage fitted.

Front rack mount seems to use the rear shock mountings (good), rear rack mount seems to need holes drilled in the rear mudguard (not good because I'd drill them in the wrong place).
So luggage is available from somewhere.

I want a rear rack badly, looks like I'll have to weld one up.

That is one of the things that steered me towards a G5 instead of the C5.
I'm sure as the "flagship' of the RE line there will be all kinds of stuff available for the C5 in short order.

Seems that the rear end of nthe C5 is basically a Bullet. I'd expect most bags for the Bllet to fit fine. I have a C5 and bought the leather Express saddle bags and they worked out great.

Wow it sold for only 3250! Thats 1250 or 1/4 off new price and only covered 243 miles!
I'm shocked, thought resale would be higher.
I wonder if the official pillion seat/bracket is usable to hang panniers from, need to see one in the flesh.
