I had a Scott Flying Squirrel that used to give my fellow riders a smell that lasted quite a while if they were behind me.

Old school... was to add a little oil to help the valve train ( upper end), I don't think it would hurt to add some (with limits)to an iron head or AVL, ....BUT...I would NOT do it to a UCE because of the O2 sensor and the computer ...could induce a check engine light .

I wouldn't use two-stroke oil, but a bit of Marvel Mystery oil wouldn't hurt.  It can be added to both engine oil and in the fuel.  There are clear instructions on the can (yes, still in a steel can!).  I used it in a '76 Moto Guzzi T3 and it ran fine for 80,000 miles.  That probably means very little, as I have no idea how many miles the average T3 will go before there's some sort of hiccup.  However, all the aging motorheads in town swore by it, so I went with the flow.

Mine allready puts oil in its cylinder all by itself. All I have to do is put gas in the tank and it supplies the oil.

I have used two-cycle oil for years as an upper cylinder lubricant and as a fuel stabiliser and octane booster for the miserable piss-for-fuel that we pump out of the ground these days. It's just quite dandy in the older stuff for all the right reasons. Two cycle oil isn't needed in the UCE engine at all due to the metallurgy in the critical top end parts such as valve seats, valves, rings, etc. Remember that the piston is phosphate coated for a non-stick surface surface better than a Billy Mays omlette pan, too! The two-cycle oil WILL, as it does leave behind ash and some particulates, render the Oh-Two sensor useless over time as well as coat the catalyst so that it doesn't work either. The UCE is well designed to run on our current pump piss without fuss or muss. Keep the additives for the Iron Barrel bikes, tho ..... they still kick up their heels a bit with proper doping of the fuel!   ;D
Spare the pig iron - spoil the part!

We (Pop and I) used to put a couple ounces of kerosene to a tank of gas in our H-D's.  His three knuckleheads..and the two Panheads and K model I rebuilt.  Pop ran his forevr before any internal work.  Mine I sold way before they needed tear down.  But don't get caught today putting Kerosene into the fuel tank, the EPA will put you under the jail.  Will.

You gotta start using the old noodle in these tuff economic times folks.

Lets see.... 1 quart used motor oil to 1 gallon gas , should be about right to keep the top end all lubed up, o2 sensors can be replaced. :D

Think about all that used motor oil that will get recycled , yep think green.
