I don't know if this is th right place to ask this question or not, but where did all the riders go who were on the map page? There is nothing there but the map itself.

Sorry about this issue, we've been having some trouble with our Community Map. I've sent a note to Frappr to try and get it worked out.

If we aren't able to restore the map pins and locators with the Frappr map, we may loose some or all of the pins that were placed by our members as we switch to another social mapping platform :(

I'll post an update here when I know more.

Thanks. I reset my pin (I think). Having the map up and running will come in handy when we get around to setting up regions for the new RE club.

Only person I see on the map is me...

Rhett - is it possible to add a column to the Member Search list to include location?  Could be useful for the Bulleteers who are trying to organize an Owners Group...

The version of the map I see has everyone on it, including me. I'm not sure what the problem is, as I don't appear to have the problem.  ;D

Mike/Stumpy: Don't feel lonely, I wish more people in WI would place their pin on the map!

By the way: Can someone tell me how to get "Rick from TX" or anyone else from showing up in the middle of my map? Gets a little annoying trying to work around these popups.

Vmax -

Think I figured it out...

When the map loads, it starts to play the list of members from the top down.  Member pins and pictures are shown to the left of the map.  If you click on the "X" in the top right corner of the popup, it will stop the playback.

You can scroll down the member list and if you see a pic that interests you, just click on it and the member box will pop up on the map.

Re: POPUPS

Messed with it some more...  if you click on the stop icon at the top of the thumbnail list to the left of the map, it should stop the popups (had to click it twice to stop it).  The stop icon is the red oval with the black square in the middle of it - when you click it, it'll stop the popups and change to the green icon with a right arrow in it ("play" icon)...

Standard stop and play icons, which I seem to have to re-learn with every application...

Hi Guys,

Sorry I've haven't been following up with this thread. I did hear back from a rep for Platial, the company that recently acquired Frappr. The got our map working again for us.

Our forum software doesn't have a member search by location feature built-in, but maybe I can rig something up. That definitely sounds like a nice feature to building clubs and organizing rides. I'll see what I can do.
